Freestanding slide FN09.038.S
A freestanding slide shall be a stable structure ensuring safe movement of children on an inclined sliding surface under the action of gravity and shall consist of supporting poles, slope, boards, platform, safety section, safety bar and ladder.
The supporting posts must be made of metal profile pipe with a cross-section of at least 80x80 mm. The open post must end with a plastic plug on top.
The slide shall consist of a slope, boards, a safety section and a safety bar.
The slide must have a starting section with a height of at least 900 mm, a sliding section and a finishing section.
The gable shall be made of a single sheet of stainless steel not less than 1.5 mm thick.
The sides of the slide shall be made of three-layer HDPE plastic with a thickness of at least 15 mm and a height of at least 100 mm.
The platform must be made of wear-resistant non-slip plywood at least 15 mm thick.
The protective section of the slide must have hand holes and be made of three-layer HDPE plastic with a thickness of at least 15 mm.
The safety bar must be made of a stainless metal pipe with a diameter of at least 25 mm, encouraging the child to sit down and installed at a height of at least 600 mm from the surface level of the starting section of the slide.
The steps of the stairs should be made of wear-resistant non-slip plywood with a thickness of at least 15 mm and screwed to the base made of metal profile pipe with a cross-section of at least 40x40 mm. The distance between the steps must be equal.
The supporting posts must be made of metal profile pipe with a cross-section of at least 80x80 mm. The open post must end with a plastic plug on top.

All fasteners, brackets, turnbuckles, eyebolts and chains are made of stainless steel.
The corners and edges of any user-accessible part of the equipment are rounded with a radius of at least 3 mm.
Plastic plugs are installed on the ends of the supporting posts, on the places of the necessary threaded connections and on the ends of pipes (profiles) accessible to the user.
Metal elements are powder coated, except for stainless steel elements.
Weld seams must be smooth and eliminate the possibility of injury to users on contact.
Wood materials are free of surface imperfections.
Spaces and joints between equipment elements prevent users' body parts and clothing from getting stuck.
The design allows for adult access in circumstances requiring unaided assistance to the user.
In order to improve product quality and safety, changes (image, dimensions, etc.) may be made to the product documentation.
Materials:
Wooden timber consists of planed lamellas glued together in thickness using a smooth fugue. The lamellas may be spliced lengthwise. When splicing lamellas along the length, the joints must be at least 300 mm apart. The glue used for gluing the lamellas by thickness to the smooth fugue is glue of the high water resistance group of the D4 class DIN EN 204. The glued laminated timber is made of wood of "resistant" or "medium resistant" classes and is subjected to special treatment. The ribs of the glued laminated timber are rounded on 4 sides with a radius of at least 3 mm.
Metal profile pipes are made of carbon and alloy steels. Alloying additives increase the strength and corrosion resistance of steel and reduce the risk of brittle fracture. The rounding radius of square and rectangular shapes of rolled pipes should not exceed twice the wall thickness.
Low Pressure Polyethylene (HDPE) is made of multilayer, non-toxic, deep-coloured polyethylene and is a plastic sheet of various thicknesses and colour combinations. It is characterised by high strength characteristics and chemical resistance. It is resistant to water, does not react with alkalis of any concentration, with solutions of neutral, acidic and basic salts, organic and inorganic acids. Ecological, difficult to ignite material.
